Class Description

This Project Management flagship workshop teaches a comprehensive project planning and controls process that provides practical techniques for successfully completing projects within time and budget constraints.

You will follow the full life cycle of a project – from scope initiation to closeout. By using case studies, interactive exercises and discussion you will learn to apply classic project management techniques to plan an in-class project and to identify appropriate control steps for a case study project under way. A ten-step model for Project Initiation and Definition, Planning, Execution and Control, and Close-out will be utilized in the training. You will also learn techniques for gathering, analyzing, and communicating essential information specific to each step.
