Target Audience

Personnel who have been, or will be assigned, project management responsibilities and who want professional certification. Project managers, project leaders and team leaders are encouraged to attend.

Class Description

This Project Management flagship workshop teaches a comprehensive project planning and controls process that provides practical techniques for successfully completing projects within time and budget constraints.

You will follow the full life cycle of a project – from scope initiation to closeout. By using case studies, interactive exercises and discussion you will learn to apply classic project management techniques to plan an in-class project and to identify appropriate control steps for a case study project under way. A ten-step model for Project Initiation and Definition, Planning, Execution and Control, and Close-out will be utilized in the training. You will also learn techniques for gathering, analyzing, and communicating essential information specific to each step.
